Those websites and the stuff in people's bios are like YEARS old without updates. Especially Eveinfo. This is the most recent "Work in progress" that I know of and has closer real ratios than those lists that are thrown about.

You turn down the mission is what happens. If you have already turned down a storyline within 4 hours, you will lose standing. You do not get another one till after you do another 16 missions.

I would say that it shouldn't even be an option. Your agent entrusted you to do the mission, you choose whether you do it solo or have others join you. They get a share of the rewards, but if you should fail, the agent knows that YOU failed him.

Mission rewards after a patch are always low. They "Stabalize" after people run them as the time it takes to do missions adjusts the rewards... Maybe it adjusts the standing increases too?
